InkIt Ghana Limited ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Ghana Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) as administered by the Data Protection Commission of Ghana. We collect only what is necessary to process your orders and provide our printing services. This includes your name, phone number, email address, delivery address, and any design files you upload for production. If you create an account, we also store a securely hashed password. We do not collect national ID numbers, financial account details, or any sensitive personal data as defined under Act 843.
Your data is used to process and deliver your orders, communicate order status updates via email, generate invoices, and improve our services. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your design files are used solely for producing your ordered items and are automatically deleted from our servers after 45 days.
Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by Namecheap Inc. with data centres in the United States. All passwords are encrypted using industry-standard bcrypt hashing. All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Design files are stored in a private directory inaccessible from the public internet and served only through authenticated download handlers. We employ CSRF protection, rate limiting, input validation, and role-based access controls to prevent unauthorized access.
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in during your visit. This cookie is essential for the site to function (e.g., maintaining your shopping cart and account session). It is marked HttpOnly and Secure, meaning it cannot be accessed by JavaScript and is only transmitted over encrypted connections. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies.
Under the Ghana Data Protection Act 2012, you have the right to:
• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data
• Objection — object to any processing you believe is unlawful

Order records are retained for accounting and tax compliance purposes under Ghana Revenue Authority requirements. Design files uploaded for orders are automatically deleted after 45 days. Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us.
We use Zoho Mail for email communications. Zoho has its own privacy policy. We do not share your data with any other third parties.
If you believe your data rights have been violated, you may lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission of Ghana at www.dataprotection.org.gh.
